1. Who is responsible

Media City AI is the data controller for personal data processed through Omni. If you use Omni as part of someone else’s workspace, that organisation decides what is published and why; Media City AI processes it on their behalf.

2. What Omni is

Omni lets you write a piece of content once and publish it to social accounts you have connected — currently LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Threads, with others in development. It stores what you write, what it published, and enough about each connected account to publish on your behalf.

3. What we collect

Your account

Name and email address, used to sign you in and identify you in a workspaceYour role and permissions within a workspaceA record of significant actions you take, so a workspace owner can see who did what

Connected social accounts

When you connect a social account, Omni stores:

The account’s id, name, handle and profile picture addressIts follower or subscriber count at the time you connected itFor LinkedIn, the email address on the accountThe permissions you grantedThe access tokens the platform issued, encrypted at restThe platform’s id for each post published through Omni

Omni does not read your private messages, your contacts, or content you did not publish through it.

Content you create

Drafts, scheduled posts, images Omni generates for you, and the record of what was published and when.

Usage

Credit consumption, which model was used for which request, and operational logs. These exist so a workspace can see what it is spending and so failures can be diagnosed.

4. Why we process it, and on what basis

PurposeLawful basis (UK GDPR)Providing the service you asked forPerformance of a contractPublishing to accounts you connectedPerformance of a contractKeeping the service secure and diagnosing faultsLegitimate interestsBilling and credit accountingPerformance of a contractMeeting legal and platform obligationsLegal obligation

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

5. Who else processes it

Omni is built on Google Cloud and uses third-party AI providers to generate text, images and audio. When you ask Omni to generate something, the prompt and relevant context are sent to the provider you or your workspace selected:

Google Cloud — hosting, database and file storageAnthropic — text generationOpenAI — text generation and speechGoogle (Gemini) — text and image generationElevenLabs — speech generationStripe — payments, where applicable

Each is a processor acting on our instructions. Their own policies govern how they handle data they receive.

6. Where your data is stored

Omni’s database, file storage and application run in Google Cloud’s London region (europe-west2).

Some AI providers listed above process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards.

7. How long we keep it

Connected accounts and their tokens — until you disconnect the account or delete your workspaceContent and publishing records — for as long as the workspace exists, so that a published post can be traced to what produced itOperational logs — a rolling period, typically 30 daysBilling records — as long as the law requires, usually six years

8. Deleting your data

Disconnecting an account in Omni removes its stored details and its tokens.

For Facebook, Instagram and Threads you can also remove Omni from the platform’s own settings, and Meta will tell Omni to delete your data. Omni honours that automatically and returns a confirmation code you can use to check the outcome.

Full instructions, including the platforms that provide no automatic notification, are at https://omni.mediacity.ai/data-deletion

To have an entire account or workspace erased, email [email protected].

9. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

10. Cookies

Omni uses cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember the workspace you are working in. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

11. Changes

We will update this page when Omni changes what it does. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
